Volunteering at the Food Bank Farm – Voorheesville (Area 3) – Sunday, August 19th 12:00pm – 3:00pm

Hey HOBY! Were you in one of the 3 lucky sections that had the opportunity to volunteer at the Regional Food Bank Farm during seminar and have been anxiously awaiting another opportunity to weed carrots? Were you in one of the other sections who have only dreamed of such a treat?? It makes no difference – come on out to the Regional Food Bank Farm in Voorheesville on August 19th from 12:00pm – 3:00pm! Take advantage of the beautiful summer weather (hey… it can’t be much worse than the mud, rain, and cold of seminar weekend, right???) and make a big difference! Even with the bad weather during seminar we had A LOT of fun – you might even hear some new cheers!!

Be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty – preferably old jeans and work boots or old sneakers. We may be spending a significant portion of the time outdoors, so bring sunscreen / water bottles / etc. as needed.
